Facelift & Necklift

In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces: deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, and folds and fat deposits appear on the neck. Facelifts and Necklifts counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, youthful look. Incisions are made in inconspicuous places such as behind the hairline and in natural folds of the face and ears, and scars fade to near invisibility in time. After surgery, some patients appear 10-15 years younger.

Contour Threadlift

This is a very exciting advance in cosmetic surgery. Many years ago, if you asked a plastic surgeon for a procedure that would make your face appear younger, you would always be offered a full facelift. Now, as you can see below, it is possible to get much of what a facelift accomplishes in a very short procedure, with minimal recovery, minimal anesthesia and no visible scars. Pain is unusual and as long as you realize that this is not a full facelift, and therefore cannot accomplish as much, people are thrilled with the change that they can accomplish!

This procedure takes only about 30 minutes. Our patients almost never complain of any pain at all! Most however, choose to hide for 4 - 6 days. During this time there is some swelling and black-and-blue. Makeup can be applied after 72 hours and normal activity can be resumed at five days. There is often some bunching of the skin around the ears which almost always goes away by itself.

Blepharoplasty

The eyelids are often the first facial feature to show signs of aging resulting in a sad, tired appearance even in the most energetic individual. Blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the eyelids, can return that youthful elegance to your face, making the eyes appear brighter and more refreshed. The eyelids can be considered separately, but it is usually most beneficial for patients to have both eyelids treated simultaneously. When the entire area around the eyes is treated together, the transformation is truly dramatic.

Any one or combination of the following conditions may indicate that you are a good candidate for eyelid surgery:

  • Excess skin obscuring the natural fold of the upper eyelids.
  • Loose skin hanging down from the upper eyelids, perhaps impairing vision.
  • A puffy appearance to the upper eyelids, making the eyes look tired.
  • Excess skin and fine, crinkly wrinkles of the lower eyelids.
  • Bags and dark circles under the eyes, often with a depression along the bony border of the lower eyelids.
  • Droopiness of the lower eyelids, showing white below the iris, the round-eye look

Brow Lift

Brow Lifts and Forehead Lifts  raise eyebrows and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, thus creating a smoother, more youthful appearance. This procedure can be performed in conjunction with other surgeries.

An incision is generally made across the top of the head from the front of one ear to the front of the other ear. The forehead and brows are elevated and excess skin is removed. The flap is then sutured. Newer techniques now allow us to perform Forehead Lifting through small incisions in the scalp by using an Endoscope and specialized instruments. This accelerates the healing process.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)

One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person's nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing.  Rhinoplasty is usually an outpatient procedure performed under either local or general anesthesia and lasts one to two hours.

Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)

Ear surgery for children or adults can set prominent ears back closer to the head and reduce the size of large ears. Surgery may also be helpful for "lop ear," "cupped ear" and "shell ear," large or stretched earlobes, and lobes with creases and wrinkles. The procedure lasts from two to three hours and may be performed in a hospital, office-based facility or an outpatient surgery center under general or local anesthesia.
